We’re always happy to answer any questions about your Christmas booking but you might find the answer to your query here:
To reserve your table or ask any questions, please email us or give us a call on 01603 631557. Once your booking has been made, we’ll ask for a non-refundable £5 deposit per person to secure your reservation.
When booking, we’ll ask what time you’d like your meal to be served, as we work to a carefully planned schedule throughout the festive period. If you’d like to arrive earlier to enjoy a few drinks before your meal, simply let us know when making your reservation.
To help us plan for the season, we ask that your deposit and completed pre-order are returned within 14 days of booking. Unfortunately, if we don’t receive these within this timeframe, we’ll need to release your table to other guests.
We ask for your deposit and pre-order within 14 days of booking to make sure we allocate the right amount of space for your group. Many parties book for a maximum number, which can drop once guests are asked to commit – this can leave us with empty seats and turning away others unnecessarily.
We really appreciate your cooperation in helping everything run smoothly! We do need your deposit within 14 days to confirm your booking. If you’re struggling to finalise everyone’s order by then, just let us know – we’ll do our best to work with you.
If you cancel with reasonable notice (up to the day before your booking, or first thing on the day in the case of illness), we’ll deduct your full deposit from the bill on the night, so you can return it to the right person. We’re not able to refund individuals directly.
If you let us know on arrival that someone isn’t coming, we’ll retain their deposit, as their food may already be prepared. If you don’t let us know until after the meal has been served, we’ll need to charge for their meal – though we’re happy to provide a doggy bag if requested.
We’ll do our best to accommodate any changes, but we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to adjust your numbers or time – especially closer to the date – as we may have other bookings to consider.
If you’re lucky enough to have your Christmas meal paid for by your company, let us know when you book and we can issue an invoice in advance. We can’t issue invoices on the night, and the bill will need to be paid in full unless other arrangements have been agreed beforehand.
Once your booking has been made, we’ll ask for a non-refundable £5 deposit per person to secure your reservation.
Yes. The festive season is one of our busiest times of year, so advance booking is essential.
We’ll always try to seat you according to your preference, but we may need to adjust table plans at the last minute to make the best use of space. While we’ll do our best, we can’t guarantee a specific table or location.

Please let our staff know if you have any allergies before you place an order. One of our management team will be happy to help should you have any questions.
On arrival, you’ll receive personalised place cards showing each guest’s menu choices, making service smooth and hassle-free. As part of our commitment to reducing waste, we no longer provide traditional Christmas crackers.
